Whispered Realms: Hidden Spaces and Beings - A Mystical Art Experience in Venice
The Venetian art scene was recently graced by the Whispered Realms: Hidden Spaces and Beings exhibition, a captivating showcase that ran from February 14 to March 4, 2025, at the Castello Gallery. Organized by Kuun Art in collaboration with scan.art, the exhibition offered an immersive journey into mystical and modern art, perfectly timed with the vibrant energy of the Venice Carnival.
From the moment guests entered the gallery, they were welcomed by Asaki’s mesmerizing Distrust series. The installation, with its fairy-like atmosphere and the interplay of light and shadows, set the tone for a deeply engaging experience. As visitors moved deeper into the space, the art seemed to blend with the environment, offering an evolving narrative with each step.

The opening night further enchanted attendees with a live performance of traditional Turkish songs by Beyza Cakir, whose voice harmonized with Lorenzo D'erasmo’s evocative drumming. Following this musical prelude, artist Heike Cantori - Wallbaum took center stage with an Eyruritmia performance of the poem Zarathustra parla ad Ahura Mazdao, infusing the evening with a spiritual and contemplative aura.

While the exhibition featured an impressive roster of artists, including Kamran Mammadov, LOVEK, Lovra, Pronus, Tulay Karavit, Joelle Cifelli, Alessia Laratonda, Natalia Malyukova, Axana, and Sophie Muret, those present during the opening added a personal touch to the unfolding experience. The artists’ engagement with the audience brought an added dimension to the works on display, enriching the dialogue between art and observer.
